I am a professional photographer and I began designing web sites when I needed to display my photographs online. After looking at many photographers' and web designers' sites, some of which I liked, and some of which left a great deal of room for improvement, I decided to build my own site to see if I could produce a design to match the best of those I had admired. I set myself the following criteria:
The design should be clean and uncluttered, to allow my photographs to be seen with the minimum of distractions.
Navigation should be intuitive, enabling visitors to reach any part of the site quickly and instinctively.
The pages should as far as possible be viewable in any browser on any computer and load quickly.

I have learned a great deal since building that first site and it has become apparent that many other people and companies have similar requirements for their web sites, and I have designed and built websites for many individuals and companies who desired these same criteria.
